The Lighthouse

Had a Strawberry Mojito and garlic bread to start with. For my main course I had the Mediterranean Chicken. It was chicken filled with Greek feta cheese with a creamy mascarpone, pine nut and prosciutto ham sauce on top. With that came vegetables which were pea pods, carrots and broccoli and then the most creamy, delicious mashed potatoes I’ve ever had! With my main meal I had a glass of white wine and I loved it. My meal was so good and so filling I wasn’t even hungry for dessert but they all sounded really good.

The lighting is super bad in the pictures but this has been my favorite restaurant by far! I almost forgot to take a picture of my main meal, it looked so good so sorry it’s half gone! I wish it was in Winchester or at least semi-closer so I could go to it again.

Bill’s Restaurant

We ordered some bread as an appetizer since we were so hungry and I couldn’t believe how good it was! I know I’ve been saying this about all the food but honestly, something as simple as bread! Who knew it could be that great. I think the sauce helped and it seemed like an olive oil but was a little sweet. For tea we each got our own pot, I prefer herbal tea and went for the Bramble Berry and Katie had the English Breakfast- both very good! Along with our tea came some finger sandwiches- they included salmon, ham and cheese, cucumber and an egg salad. Then we had 4 cakes to share, a brownie, a strawberry shortcake sort of thing, a lemon poppyseed cake and a marshmallow but it tasted better than just a marshmallow.

Now my favorite was the scone! It had some sort of fruit in it and I broke it in half put some butter on it and jam on top and boy did fireworks go off in my mouth! I bought cheap jam from the store for sandwiches but it doesn’t even come close to how good the jam from Bill’s is! Next time I’m in London I know where I’ll be going for tea 🙂

Zizzi’s

Went to town with some friends for dinner and it was AMAZING!! I know I will be going back to this place at least once. I had a Berry Bella cocktail, with Risotto Pollo Funghi and for dessert I had a Banana Chocolate Calzone.

Cyber Italia

In one of the buildings on campus is this little cafe food place called Cyber Italia. They serve items from paninis to wraps, smoothies and my personal favorite PIZZA! I like the margherita pizza; when I ordered it I was expecting tomatoes, basil leaves and mozzarella on top but instead it just normal cheese pizza. But the cheese..it just tastes so good! Another one of my favorites from here is the chicken pesto panini. That has thinly sliced tomatoes with some good flavors to it. I guess you could say Cyber Italia is becoming my favorite on campus food place to eat. 🙂

Yummy!
